When my father translated, I was in junior high school and felt like a piece of me was gone. I had stopped playing sports and many other things. I felt like the world was over. I went on to college yet still with a fracture in my essence that had yet to be fixed. In 1997 I had went to my 2nd college to obtain another degree and this is when my fracture was healed. Even though I had not met Dr. Malachi Kobina York yet, his essence seeped through the pages of the 1st scroll I was given, immediately fixing my fractured mood of loosing my father. The feeling was very similar to my father as if this was him again to carry me onto the next phase of my life… This is why I say he, Dr. Malachi Kobina York is my father. It’s not only what he has done but the feeling of an enormous care that I have and receive from him.
