Injustice Must Not Be A Threat

In the word of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
Where is that injustice?  Injustice like a snake meandered its way into the life of Dr. Malachi K. York, dragging with it lies, corruption and deception.  An innocent man being charged and found guilty of transporting children for illicit acts and racketeering.  There was not evidence to support these allegations.  Also, there was witnesses recanting their lies, a hung jury, and the government sealing the trial transcripts.

Now, Dr. Malachi K. York sits cloaked in injustice in a maximum security prison. Sentenced on April 22, 2004 by Judge Ashley C. Royal to 135 years.

Will we set this record straight or continue to let injustice prevail?  When will it rise it evil head again a take it venous bite? Will it be your brother, sister, child or mother?  Who is next?  Or will we join forces as concerned citizens and let justice triumphant.

Let us remember the introduction to the Constitution, We the people in order to from a more perfect Union, establish justice, Insure domestic tranquility, for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish the Constitution for the United States of America.
Establish justice!  Where is the justice in the case of Dr. Malachi K. York?  How can we have domestic tranquility when a innocent man rights have been violated?  His today maybe yours, mine, or our loved ones tomorrow.  How can we secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity when we know that innocent people are incarcerated and executed?

Remember the words, “We the People…” Our judicial System is suppose to serve its people fairly.
We the people must stamp out injustice anywhere so it does not continue to be a threat to justice everywhere.
